Purpose: The purpose of the YMCA Adventure Princess
Father and Daughter Program is to foster the understanding
and companionship of father and daughter.
Pledge: "We, Father and Daughter, through friendly
service to each other, to our family, to this tribe, to our
community, seek a world pleasing to the eye of the Great
Spirit."
Aims:
- To be clean in body and pure at heart.
- To be Friends Forever with my Dad/Daughter.
- To love the sacred circle of my family
- To be attentive while others speak.
- To love thy neighbor as thyself.
- To seek and preserve the beauty of the Creator's work in
forest, field and stream.
We need the help of our membership to make our organization
financially stronger, so we can continue to proide the quality
events and outings for the dads and daughters. The YMCA
Adventure Princess Father and Daughter Program is a way to foster
and build the understanding and companionship between fathers
and daughters. Since the Y-Indian Guide program began in 1926,
it has helped thousands of children and parents build strong
relationships. The program was developed to support parent's
vital role as teacher, counselor and friend to the their
children.
